My Ceramic Zombie

For the first project of my ceramics class we were assigned a "Soft Slab Machine". This could be any fictional machine built with soft slab technique. I chose to make an Army Experimental Zombie control device. I made a helmet separate from a zombie head, complete with removable brain. I used Speedball Underglazes and colored slip as well as a combination of glaze.

Shit Happens

Seriously. I was outside the Ceramics studio today and I saw this right outside the door. Is it real poop? It would be funnier if it is. Who knows. tressThe poop is even on a brick. What a great random thing to make me laugh during a stressful day.

My first attempt at blogging

This is my first attempt at a blog. How exciting, I'm getting into the computer world. My current art projects are going nicely. School and my son keep me very busy. I am currently working on a wheel thrown piece for ceramics and a black and white design study for my 2D art class. I will add more interesting things and pictures at a decent hour when I am more awake.
